Hi
Today I heard a life time experience, from one of my friend gone through....
My friend is also working on the same project and we all away from our work location.... from last couple of months...
However, last week he got a call from his wife to inform him that city police has visited his home and asked about his whereabout.... Wife was stunt... Police infromed her that my friend, by rash driving knock a old lady and she has suffered major injuries and later died in hospital... ... A flower shopper, who usually sat on that part of the road, given number of the motorbike and that number happened to be of my friend....
Inquiry started... police found address of the viechial from RTO office.. and landed at my friends house...... and all of them were in civil dress.... His wife then had arguments with police and she also submitted all possible fact about my friend and how he could not be with bike at the spot as he is away from town for more than 2 months now.... Even she shown the bike... which was laying ideal and really dusty by now...
My friend was worried... Not just becuase all this happened but also becuase his wife was alone to face all this and at wrong time... More to add ... her father... who was mostly dependent on her was fall and had facture recently...... Now she was fighting on two fronts... poor lady...
My friend, started collecting evidence to prove that he was away from town... Project attendance sheet, train tickets, etc. .....
Meanwhile he also tried to speak on the cell given by the police... Number was not of the police who came but of the head inspector of the police station... and head inspector was unaware that some police has gone to my friend's house even.. however he was helping... he ask my friend to visit the police station with all proofs...
Poor guy... he is just paying for nothing.... He was surely with us... it is definetly a mistaken identity... the flower-shopper need to question... In FIR, there isn't any detail about make and model of the bike.... neither much detail of the biker ....
How can police create such a loose case... .....
Is anyone gone through such things.... ....... May be...............
Bye for now.
Sunil Kolambkar.
